| Seesaw Nurseries have two other sites in Trowbridge but Newtown
is the only one attached to a school. The nursery is in a mobile of
the school grounds that are very attractive. The nursery has access
to the school gardens and swimming pool. We hope that working in close
conjunction with the school will benefit children as they move from
one to the other. |

 |
We are open in school term time only and the nursery is in receipt
of Government funding as children become eligible. Children are
admitted from the term in which they become 3 years old. The nursery
holds two sessions a day, from 9am until 11.30am and 12.45 until
3.15pm. Children can be accommodated over lunchtime but will have
to bring a packed lunch. Nursery children who are rising 4 can attend
the breakfast and after school club.
|
| Unfortunately, the government grant only covers 33 weeks
of the school term, 6 weeks short of the school terms. We ask that
parents make this shortfall over the year. Parents are also asked
to sign a contract that is designed to make clear the mutual obligations
of parent and nursery. Children needing extended day-care or holiday
club provision in the school holidays can transfer to Seesaw at Wingfield
Road or Eastbourne Road. |
